If you are new to Galveston Island, we are located in the heart of Galveston’s historical district on Strand Street. Many of the buildings here survived the Great Storm of 1900, regarded as the worst natural disaster in US history. We are two blocks from the Galveston Island Railroad Museum, one of the most popular railroad museums in the country. We are also two blocks from the Cruise ship terminals. So if you are headed out to sea, don’t forget to stop by and pick up some jerky. Yes, you can take the jerky on the cruise with you. Unfortunately it cannot be taken off the ship at international destinations, so we suggest stocking up for the trip. If you forget to stock up you can always restock when you return to port. If you are planning to make a day of your visit, Strand St. is covered with wonderful shopping destinations, restaurants, and museums full of Galveston’s rich and diverse history.
