Peppered Jerky Breakfast Casserole

This breakfast casserole will have you jumping out of bed in the morning! 
Packed with protein, this recipe is a great way to start your day! 

Ingredients 

  • 1 roll refrigerated croissant dough 
  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten 
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream 
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream 
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard 
  • 1 Peppercorn Jerky SnackPak (3oz), chopped 

Directions 

  1. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Cover the bottom of the dish with a flat layer of croissant dough.  
  2. In a large bowl, combine eggs, heavy whipping cream, cheese, sour cream, and mustard.
    Whisk to combine, then stir in chopped jerky. 
  3. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top of the dough in the dish.
    Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees until cooked through (about 45 minutes).
    Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of bake time. 
  4. Allow casserole to sit 10 minutes before serving.
