Father’s Day is this weekend on Sunday, June 17. If you haven’t picked out a gift for Dad, time is quickly running out. The short porch schedule is no reason to panic, there’s still time left to make the right decision, or at least one that doesn’t overtly insult Dad’s feelings.

Why needlessly hurt his feeling is such a callous manner? Another thing not to give Pop is cologne. Are you trying to tell him that he stinks? Don’t do it! 

A generic gift card is another no-no. Here you are, a thirty-something, still living in the attic, and you don’t have any idea what the man who raised you from youngun’ hood* would appreciate in return for his unrequited paternal generosity.
